Do I need to be connected to the internet to use the app?
No, the app runs locally. You only need all devices to be connected to the same network to access the server from other devices such as phones or tablets.
Can I use the app on my phone?
Yes, as long as the server is running on a computer, you can access the app from your phone using a web browser.
Can I use the app on more than one computer or office?
Each computer can run its own server, but servers do not communicate with each other. So if you have two offices, each can run its own independent instance of the program.
Can information be shared between dentists?
No. Each server is designed to be used by a single dentist. Currently, there is no synchronization between servers.
What happens if I format my computer? Will I lose my data?
No, if you have Google Drive backups enabled, you can easily recover your data after formatting and reinstalling the app.
Is it mandatory to use Google Calendar and Google Drive?
It’s not mandatory, but it is highly recommended to take full advantage of features like synchronization, automatic backups, and appointment reminders.
How are appointments confirmed to the patient?
The patient receives a confirmation email when the appointment is created, and an automatic phone notification one day before the appointment.
Can I edit the documents generated by the app?
Yes, you can edit documents such as medical certificates, prescriptions, and payment reports before printing or saving them.
What if I forget my password?
The user manual provides step-by-step instructions on how to reset your app password, as well as the program’s default password.
What does technical support include?

Is the database secure?
Yes, all data is encrypted, and access requires a username and password. Additionally, Google authentication is required for Calendar and Drive functions.
Can I use the app on a Mac?
Not directly. The app is designed for Windows and Linux (.deb). However, it can work on a Mac using a virtual machine with Linux or Windows. The server must run on Windows or Linux, but a Mac can connect to the server through a browser.
